Cunard, a British cruise line, has been named the official cruise partner of the 78th annual Tony Awards. In addition to being showcased at the previously announced June 8 ceremony, the luxury brand will also be featured at Tony-related events in the weeks before.
The 185-year-old brand recently landed its Queen Anne ship in Miami, while the Queen Elizabeth will launch its inaugural voyage from the same port in the fall. This will mark the first time a Cunard ship will spend a full season in Miami. Cunard’s Caribbean cruises will feature performances from Broadway and West End talent.
“The Tony Awards are not only a celebration of the current Broadway season, but of the art of theater and how it can be shared with new audiences all around the world,” said Jason Laks, president of the Broadway League and Heather Hitchens, president and CEO of the American Theater Wing, in a joint statement. “Cunard’s commitment to offering world-class theater experiences at sea make them the perfect partner as we ring in Broadway’s biggest night!”

The 2025 Tony Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall, the first time the venue has hosted the ceremony since 2022. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. As previously reported, Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo will serve as host. The Tony Awards is presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Nominations will be revealed on May 1.
