Concord Theatricals has acquired worldwide stage licensing rights to Heidi Schreck’s “What the Constitution Means to Me.”
The play will be licensed through Samuel French, an imprint of Concord Theatricals. A release timeline will be announced at a later date.
“I am thrilled that ‘What The Constitution Means to Me’ will be available for licensing through Concord Theatricals,” Schreck said. “I have collaborated with the same wonderful team there since they published my first play (under the Samuel French imprint) many years ago. I adore them and couldn’t be happier that we are reuniting to share this play with theaters across the world.”
“What the Constitution Means to Me” ran on Broadway from March to August 2019. The production recently announced plans to relaunch its national tour this fall, with Cassie Beck taking over the lead role.
