“Chicago” cancelled its Monday and Tuesday evening performances this week due to COVID-19 cases in the company.

The production had originally cancelled its Saturday evening performance after two employees tested positive for COVID-19, and had planned to resume performances Monday. “Chicago” now plans to resume Thursday.

The production does not play performances on Wednesday.

Producers Barry and Fran Weissler said they cancelled additional performances out of “an abundance of caution.”

All employees on Broadway are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Broadway League has suggested a minimum testing cadence for company members, which currently stands at two times per week.
