Teal Wicks and Micaela Diamond are joining Stephanie J. Block to play the role of Cher in the Chicago run of ‘The Cher Show.’
Cher will be depicted by the three actors at different points throughout her life and career. In addition, the show announced Jarrod Spector as Sonny Bono, Michael Berresse as Bob Mackie, Michael Campayno as Rob Camilletti, Matthew Hydzik as Gregg Allman and Emily Skinner as Georgia Holt.
The show, produced by Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller, will play the Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway beginning Nov. 1, 2018, with an opening night of Dec. 3, 2018.
Before Broadway, the show will play the Oriental Theatre in Chicago beginning June 12, 2018 and ending July 15, 2018.
The full company includes: Marija Abney, Carleigh Bettiol, Taurean Everett, Michael Fatica, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Michael Graceffa, Blaine Alden Krauss, Sam Lips, Allie Meixner, Tiana Okoye, Amy Quanbeck, Angel Reda, Dee Roscioli, Michael Tacconi, Tory Trowbridge, Christopher Vo, Alena Watters, Charlie Williams, and Ryan Worsing.
The show also added video designer Darrel Maloney to its creative team.
