Charlotte d’Amboise and Ryan Silverman are set to rejoin the cast of “Chicago” beginning Nov. 7 at the Ambassador Theatre.
D’Amboise returns to the role of Roxie Hart, succeeding current cast member Angelica Ross. Silverman will step back into the role of Billy Flynn, replacing outgoing cast member Brandon Victor Dixon.
Two-time Tony Award nominee d’Amboise has appeared on Broadway in “A Chorus Line,” “Jerome Robbins Broadway,” “Damn Yankees,” “Sweet Charity,” “Contact,” “Company,” “Song & Dance,” “Cats” and “Pippin.”
Silverman’s Broadway credits include “The Phantom of the Opera,” Cry-Baby” and “Side Show.”
D’Amboise and Silverman join the previously announced Isaac Mizrahi, who will make his Broadway stage debut on Nov. 7 in the role of Amos Hart for a three-week engagement, alongside current cast members Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Charity Angél Dawson as Matron “Mama” Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
The current cast also includes David Bushman, Jennifer Dunne, Jessica Ernest, Jeff Gorti, Arian Keddell, Mary Claire King, Joseph London, Barrett Martin, Sharon Moore, Drew Nellessen, Celina Nightengale, Brian O’Brien, Denny Paschall, Jermaine R. Rembert, Rachel Schur, Michael Scirrotto, Christine Cornish Smith and Brian Spitulnik.
“Chicago” is currently in its 25th year on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre. The musical is produced by Barry and Fran Weissler. Casting is by Stewart/Whitley.
