Winners of the Casting Society’s 2025 Artios Awards, which recognize excellence in casting, have been revealed. Casting directors from several Broadway productions, as well as a national tour and film adaptation, were honored at simultaneous ceremonies held on Feb. 12 in New York, Los Angeles and London. The New York ceremony was hosted by Jordan Carlos at the Edison Ballroom, while Janelle James served as host of the West Coast edition at the Beverly Hilton. The London ceremony was hosted by Susan Wokoma at the White City House.

Winners in the Broadway: Comedy or Drama and Broadway: Musical categories were casting directors of the 2024 Best Play Tony Award winner “Stereophonic” (Alaine Alldaffer and Taylor Williams) and Best Musical Tony winner “The Outsiders” (Tara Rubin and Xavier Rubiano), respectively.

Additionally, Henry Russell Bergstein, who cast both the Off-Broadway engagement and subsequent Main Stem transfer of “Oh, Mary!,” was named the victor in the New York Theater: Comedy or Drama category. The winner of the corresponding New York Theater: Musical category was the casting team behind the Off-Broadway mounting of David Ives and Stephen Sondheim’s “Here We Are”: Bernard Telsey and Adam Caldwell, as well as associate casting director Geoff Josselson.

Lindsay Levine and Rachel Hoffman were awarded in the Theater Tours category for their work in casting the national tour of “MJ.”
