‘Cabaret’ cancels April 24 matinée due to cast illness

The 8 p.m. evening performance is expected to proceed as planned.

The Broadway revival of “Cabaret” has canceled the April 24 2:00 p.m. matinée performance due to an illness in the cast. Further information is not available. The 8:00 p.m. evening performance is expected to proceed as planned.

“Cabaret” began previews on April 1 and opened on April 21 at the August Wilson Theatre. Rebecca Frecknall directs the production, which stars Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee and Gayle Rankin as Sally Bowles.

“Cabaret” is produced by Ambassador Theatre Group Productions, Underbelly, Gavin Kalin Productions, Hunter Arnold, Smith & Brant Theatricals and Wessex Grove.
