“MJ the Musical” will share its opening number live on TikTok on Sept. 29, producers announced Wednesday.
TikTok users can log into the video app at 6:45 p.m. for behind-the-scenes content before the show begins. Then, Myles Frost and company will perform “Beat It” live from the Neil Simon Theatre.
Following the performance, TikTok users will have an opportunity to win tickets to the musical.
Frost took home the 2022 Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his performance in the musical’s title role. The production won three additional awards, including Best Choreography for Christopher Wheeldon.
“MJ” is produced on Broadway by Lia Vollack, John Branca and John McClain.
