The Broadway production of “Hell’s Kitchen” has teamed up with the New York Liberty. The Alicia Keys tuner is a presenting sponsor of the basketball team’s July 16 game and will host a block party in advance of the 7:00 p.m. game against the Connecticut Sun. The event, which is both free and open to the public, will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Ticketmaster Plaza at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
The party will feature special performances from the Liberty entertainment team and the Brooklyn Elite Jumpers Double Dutch. Additionally, select cast members from “Hell’s Kitchen” will hold a meet and greet.
The evening’s game will feature a special halftime performance choreographed by “Hell’s Kitchen”’s four-time Tony Award-nominated choreographer, Camille A. Brown, and the production’s associate choreographer Rickey Tripp. At this time, two attendees will have the opportunity to win tickets to an upcoming performance of the 2024 Tony Award Best Musical nominee.
Featuring a score of preexisting and original Keys songs and a Tony-nominated book by Kristoffer Diaz, “Hell’s Kitchen” follows New York City teenager Ali as she rebels against her mother while discovering her budding piano prowess. The Michael Greif-directed musical opened on April 20 and was nominated for 13 Tony Awards, winning two, for performers Maleah Joi Moon and Kecia Lewis.
“Hell’s Kitchen” is produced by AKW Productions.
