Entertainment law firms Nevin Law Group and Klaris Law will join forces. The merger will be effective as of June 5. Established in 2013, Nevin Law Group specializes in services for theatrical productions and represents six currently running Broadway shows. Klaris Law works in media, entertainment, technology and intellectual property and represents such clients as Warner Bros. Entertainment, NBCUniversal and the Maya Angelou estate.
Nevin Law Group founder Doug Nevin will be named partner at the merged firm and will head Klaris Law’s new theater and live events department. His associate, Brandon Taylor, will also join the team at Klaris. Edward Klaris, who founded Klaris Law in 2015, is a managing partner.
