The musical’s newly announced ensemble includes Lawrence Alexander, Courtney Arango, Colin Bradbury, Tristen Buettel, Joshua Michael Burrage, Victoria Byrd, Dan Castiglione, Rebecca Corrigan, Ian Gallagher Fitzgerald, RJ Higton, Nina Lafarga, Morgan McGhee, Ryah Nixon, Lizzy Tucker, Christian Probst, Ricky Schroeder, Gabriella Sorrentino, Derek Jordan Taylor, David Wright Jr., Damani Van Rensalier and Amy Van Norstrand.

They will appear alongside the previously announced Jasmine Amy Rogers as Betty Boop, Faith Prince as Valentina, Erich Bergen as Raymond, Ainsley Melham as Dwayne, Stephen DeRosa as Grampy, Anastacia McCleskey as Carol, Angelica Hale as Trisha, Phillip Huber as Pudgy the Dog and Aubie Merrylees as Oscar.

Directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, with music supervision and arrangements by Daryl Waters, “BOOP!” features a book by Bob Martin, music by David Foster and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead. Based on the Betty Boop cartoon created by Max Fleischer, the musical sees Betty as she longs for a break from the black-and-white world of super celebrity to enjoy an ordinary day off. Armed with inimitable looks, voice and style, Betty embarks on an adventure of color, music and love in New York City.

“BOOP! The Musical” is being produced by Ostar Productions, with Foresight Theatrical as general manager.
