Austin Durant will fill in for Danny Burstein in “Moulin Rouge!” as Burstein takes a six-week medical leave of absence to repair a torn meniscus.
Durant will take on the role of Harold Zidler beginning Dec. 10. He joins the production after appearing in the 2014 revival of “You Can’t Take It With You,” the 2013 revival of “Macbeth” and “War Horse.”
“Moulin Rouge!” began previews on at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on June 28, 2019, with an opening night on July 25.
