Murnane Casting has announced the addition of casting director Amber Snead. Snead joins a team that includes Murnane founder and casting director Chad Eric Murnane and casting associate Nathanial Riccio.
Prior to joining Murnane, Snead held tenures with ARC Casting and Binder Casting. With ARC, Snead’s work included casting the 2023 national tour of “My Fair Lady” and working on “The Lion King” both on Broadway and on the road.
“Amber and I share a deep synergy and passion for discovering talent,” said Murnane, with whom Snead worked at Binder, in a statement. “I’m thrilled to partner with my longtime collaborator and friend, as we take Murnane Casting to the next level.”
“Chad and I both love to go above and beyond to discover the right artists for our projects — and strive to cultivate inclusive spaces where everyone can shine,” Snead noted. “I’m happy to be working with my friend again.”
Murnane provides casting services for theater, film and television. Previous clients include Classic Stage Company, Goodspeed Musicals, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Drury Lane Theatre and Bay Street Theater.
