“Chicago” will welcome Margeaux Goldrich to the stage of the Ambassador Theatre. Goldrich, the fictional “Upper East Side Emotional Terror” created by jewelry and lifestyle brand Alexis Bittar, will deliver the long-running musical’s opening monologue during the 7 p.m. performance on Oct. 15.

The character Goldrich, a boisterous and sassy socialite, has been a staple of Bittar’s social media platforms. Since September, the brand’s Instagram and TikTok have featured humorous videos of Goldrich and her sidekick Jules/Hazel going backstage at the Ambassador, receiving lessons in Bob Fosse-style choreography from members of the “Chicago” company.

Goldrich is performed by Patricia Black, whose television and film credits include “The Watcher,” “Pose” and “Joy de V.” She is the creative director of the Albright Fashion Library.

Featuring a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, “Chicago” is directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The musical opened on Nov. 14, 1996 and is the second-longest running show (play or musical) in Broadway history.

“Chicago” is produced by Barry and Fran Weissler.
