Advertising agency AKA NYC announces key promotions and expanded staff

AKA’s current Broadway clients include “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and “Glengarry Glen Ross.”

The advertising agency AKA NYC has announced a wave of new hires and key promotions across the firm’s client verticals. AKA’s clients include this Broadway season’s productions of “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” “Glengarry Glen Ross” and more.

Following ten years with AKA, Kevin Bradley has been elevated to the role of senior vice president, arts & culture. In this expanded role, Bradley will continue to spearhead the agency’s arts and culture vertical across North America, overseeing key sectors such as museums, heritage organizations, performing arts and botanical gardens. 

Additionally, Vanessa Javier has transitioned to the title of group account director, attractions & destinations, reflecting her continued impact in leading strategic initiatives for clients in these sectors. 

Matthew Martine, Kathryn Rickman and Becky Tubbritt have been promoted to group account directors, with the responsibility to ensure structured leadership across the agency’s theatrical campaigns. Joining them is Ali Bloomston, newly hired from Arthouse/TodayTix. Each group account director will be charged with overseeing a dedicated portfolio and team. 

Furthermore, to support AKA’s growth and evolving client needs, the agency has welcomed several key new hires across creative, social, media and business intelligence: 

Hailey Barton joins AKA as senior media director; she most recently served as VP, digital media, at Serino Coyne.

Alina Bourke joined in February as a media director, coming to AKA from Good Apple. Bourke has ample experience across traditional and digital media. 

Sydney Guillory joins as lead analyst, business intelligence, bringing a data-driven approach to audience insights and campaign performance. 

Shari Roberts now supports AKA NYC’s agency performance marketing group as associate director of paid social. 

Sasha Zabelina has been named creative director, social, focused on strengthening AKA’s content-forward, data-fueled creative strategies.
