Adrianna Hicks will return to ‘SIX’

The original Broadway cast member will reprise her role.

Actor Adrianna Hicks will reprise her role as Catherine of Aragon on Broadway. Hicks, who originated the role for the Main Stem production, will begin performances on Nov. 25 for a limited time through Feb. 17. 2025. She takes over for Khaila Wilcoxon, who is currently in the role and will play her final performance on Nov. 24.

Hicks was most recently seen on Broadway as Sugar in “Some Like It Hot.” She earned a Grammy Award for her vocal performance on the musical’s cast album. Her other Main Stem credits include the 2015 revival of “The Color Purple” and “Aladdin.” Hicks earned a Daytime Emmy as part of the cast of “The Color Purple” for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program.

“SIX” opened at Broadway’s Lena Horne Theatre (then the Brooks Atkinson Theatre) on Oct. 3, 2021.

The current cast includes Wilcoxon as Catherine of Aragon, Storm Lever as Anne Boleyn, Jasmine Forsberg as Jane Seymour, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves, Didi Romero as Katherine Howard and Gabriela Carrillo as Catherine Parr. The ensemble features Aryn Bohannon, Jessie Davidson, Sierra Fermin, Jana Larell Glover and Jenny Mollet as alternates. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting/Peter Van Dam.
