“A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical” has scheduled a cast album signing event. The company of the bio-musical will sign copies of the original Broadway cast recording immediately following the matinée performance on Oct. 18 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

“Signed cast albums are theater fans’ most prized possession and, as we prepare to say ‘happy trails’ to Will Swenson, this will be the last chance people will have to get their CDs signed by this remarkable cast,” said Bob Gaudio, a producer of the musical and its cast recording. “I hope to see as many ‘A Beautiful Noise’ fans there as possible to celebrate the cast and our cast album.”

As previously announced, Tony Award-nominated actor Swenson will depart the production on Oct. 29; current alternate Nick Fradiani will assume the role of “Neil Diamond — Then” full-time beginning on Oct. 31.

The signing event is free and open to anyone with a physical CD of the cast recording. Members of the production’s merchandise team will have extra copies available for purchase at the theater. Signing is on a first come, first serve basis, with the signing event strictly limited to 60 minutes.

People attending the October 18 matinée performance will have their cast albums signed first, and then anyone else with the cast album will be able to enter to the theater to have their album signed. The line in front of the Broadhurst will start at 3:30 p.m. Anyone arriving before then will be asked to return at 3:30 p.m. To make sure as many people as possible can get their albums signed, the signing is limited to the “A Beautiful Noise” CD.

For those who want another item signed (a Playbill, souvenir book, etc.), on-site donations of $25 can be made via credit card to the Parkinson’s Foundation. (There is a limit of one item per person.)

In addition to Swenson and Fradiani, the principal cast of “A Beautiful Noise” includes Tony nominee Mark Jacoby as “Neil Diamond — Now,” Tony nominee Robyn Hurder as Marcia and Shirine Babb as Doctor.

Rounding out the company are Jessie Fisher as Jaye Posner, Michael McCormick as Fred Weintraub/Tommy O’Rourke, Tom Alan Robbins as Bert Berns/Kieve Diamond and Bri Sudia as Ellie Greenwich/Rose Diamond.

Ensemblists, swings and standbys include Neal Benari, Ninako Donville, Paige Faure, Kalonjee Gallimore, Samantha Gershman, Becky Gulsvig, Alex Hairston, Makai Hernandez, Jess LeProtto, Tatiana Lofton, Aaron James McKenzie, Mary Page Nance, Robert Pendilla, Max Sangerman, MiMi Scardulla and Deandre Sevon.

Charting Diamond’s rise to fame, “A Beautiful Noise” features a score of his songs with a book by Anthony McCarten, direction by Tony winner Michael Mayer and choreography by five-time Tony nominee Steven Hoggett.

“A Beautiful Noise” is produced by Gaudio and Ken Davenport.
