The Broadway League has announced that Kids’ Night on Broadway will return on March 21.

Celebrating its 25th year, the annual event allows children 18 and younger the opportunity to see a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by an adult paying full-price. The offer is applied as 50 percent off per ticket.

Participating productions will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets also include restaurant discounts, activity books, in-theater events and more.

Kids’ Night on Broadway will also take place around the country in various locations throughout the year as different venues and productions create their own version of the event inspired by New York. Aimed at introducing a new generation to live theater, the program is presented by The New York Times with additional support from Westchester Family.

“Thanks to this program, 182,747 kids and teens have attended a show for free and we know that will affect their theatergoing habits for the future,” Charlotte St. Martin, president of The Broadway League, said in a statement. “Our research reflects that 63.5 percent of Broadway audiences reported attending theater as children or adolescents, helping to establish early lifelong connections to live theater.”
