The upcoming Broadway-premiere staging of the play “Between Riverside and Crazy” will be simulcast during its final two weeks.

Second Stage Theatre announced on Oct. 11 that performances from Jan. 31, 2023, through Feb. 12 will be simulcast in real time.

There will be 5-7 remotely operated cameras placed around the Hayes Theatre capturing the production.

Tickets for the simulcast start at $59 and will go on sale on Nov. 11.

Previews for “Between Riverside and Crazy” are scheduled to begin at the Hayes on Nov. 30 ahead of an official opening night on Dec. 19.

It was recently announced that Common will be making his Broadway debut in the production, alongside fellow cast members Stephen McKinley Henderson, Victor Almanzar, Elizabeth Canavan, Rosal Colón, Liza Colón-Zayas and Michael Rispoli.

Austin Pendleton is set to direct the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Stephen Adly Guirgis.

Second Stage’s simulcast program launched with last season’s production of “Clyde’s.”

“We are very pleased to once again offer a simulcast viewing option — in real time — from our Broadway home, the Hayes Theater,” Second Stage Executive Director Khady Kamara said. “This unique program significantly broadened our audience with last year’s production of ’Clyde’s’ and we are excited to resume this program by simulcasting a live Broadway performance of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play into people’s homes this winter.”
