The Nederlander Organization, one of the largest operators of live theaters and other venues in the United States, has announced the acquisition of TixTrack, Inc., a ticketing technology company.

According to press notes, TixTrack, Inc. “has been focused on applying the latest modern technology to create ticketing products that improve the ticket buying experience for consumers, venue owners, promoters and producers. TixTrack has focused specifically on cultural organizations and special attractions, which has allowed them to cater to the needs of clients who operate legitimate theatre, museums, immersive experiences, and timed-entry attractions all over the world.”

TixTrack’s co-founders, Steven Sunshine and Michael Arya, will continue to lead the company, along with Chief Technology Officer Mike Ripberger. Sean Free, currently the VP of Sales & Ticketing at Nederlander, will also join the TixTrack executive team as Chief Operating Officer.

TixTrack has its corporate office in Los Angeles with additional offices in London, Sydney, and Wellington.
