The first preview of “A Strange Loop” has now been delayed until April 14 due to COVID-19 cases in the company.
The first Broadway performance was originally scheduled for April 6, but has since encountered a series of delays due to positive cases detected within the company. The production had previously intended to hold its first preview on April 12.
The production is still planning to open at the Lyceum Theatre on April 26, a spokesperson said Tuesday.
This development follows cancellations at “Plaza Suite,” “Paradise Square” and “Macbeth” due to COVID-19 cases within those companies.
