“Paradise Square” canceled its April 7 performance due to COVID-19 cases detected in the company.

The new musical made the announcement about 20 minutes before curtain. A resumption date for performances was not provided.

“Paradise Square, which held its opening night festivities on April 3, is the latest Broadway show to cancel due to COVID-19. “Plaza Suite” canceled its Thursday performance after both Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick tested positive for COVID-19 cases. “Macbeth” is canceled through April 10 after star Daniel Craig and other members of the company tested positive. “A Strange Loop” delayed its first preview to April 11 from April 6 after company members tested positive for the virus.
