Joy Woods will make her Broadway debut as Catherine Parr when she joins the cast of “Six” in March, producers said Monday.
Woods takes over the role from original Broadway cast member Anna Uzele starting March 14. Uzele will depart the production March 13.
In addition to Uzele, the Broadway cast of “Six” currently includes Adrianna Hicks, Andrea Macasaet, Abby Mueller, Brittney Mack and Samantha Pauly.
Woods has appeared in the Off-Broadway production of “Little Shop of Horrors” and the virtual musical “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical.”
“Six” opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Oct. 3, 2021. The musical, co-written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is produced on Broadway by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum.
