Lincoln Center Theater’s revival of “The Skin of Our Teeth” will play its first preview on April 1, one day later than previously scheduled.
The Thornton Wilder play will feature a large ensemble cast that includes “A Chorus Line” star Priscilla Lopez. James Vincent Meredith (“The Book of Mormon”), Roslyn Ruff (“All The Way”), Paige Gilbert (“The Rose Tattoo”) and Julian Robertson (“Pass Over”) will play the Antrobus family at the center of the play. Gabby Beans, who will make her Broadway debut with the play, will play the family’s maid.
The full cast features Eunice Bae, Terry Bell, Ritisha Chakraborty, William DeMeritt, Jeremy Gallardo, Avery Glymph, Donnetta Lavinia Grays, Noor Hamdi, Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, Maya Loren Jackson, Anaseini Katoa, Cameron Keitt, Megan Lomax, Kathiamarice Lopez, Lindsay Rico, Julian Rozzell, Jr., Julyana Soelistyo, Phillip Taratula, Beau Thom, Alphonso Walker, Jr., Adrienne Wells and Sarin Monae West.
Directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, the production is scheduled to open on April 25 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Branden Jacobs-Jenkins will contribute additional material to Wilder’s script for the revival.
Set design is by Adam Rigg, with costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Yi Zhao and sound design by Palmer Hefferan.
