“Jagged Little Pill” will launch a multi-year North American tour in fall 2022, producers Vivek J. Tiwary, Arvind Ethan David and Eva Price announced Tuesday.
The tour is set to make more than 30 stops. Seattle Theatre Group is the only presenter to announce an engagement so far, with the musical set to play the Paramount Theatre in November.
The remainder of the planned destinations, along with casting, will be announced in the coming months.
“Jagged Little Pill,” which ended its Broadway run in December, features songs by Alanis Morissette and a Tony Award-winning book by Diablo Cody. The production is directed by Diane Paulus.
“Jagged Little Pill” was the first Broadway production to announce its closure amid the Omicron surge. At the time of closing, producers hinted at the possibility of bringing the musical back to Broadway in the future, but no plans have yet been announced.
