“Chicken & Biscuits” will cancel three performances this week due to breakthrough cases of COVID-19 in the Broadway company.

Performances are cancelled from Nov. 9 through Nov. 11 and the production will then determine the next steps. Per Broadway protocols, the cast and company of “Chicken & Biscuits” is fully vaccinated.

This is the second production on Broadway to cancel performances due to breakthrough COVID-19 cases since the industry’s reopening.

“Aladdin” initially cancelled one performance due to breakthrough cases and then cancelled 10 additional performances in early October as more cases emerged. The production has since resumed without further stoppage.

The cases at “Chicken & Biscuits” were discovered through the show’s “regular testing process,” according to the production.

“The cast and crew will continue to undergo rigorous testing to ensure we return with a COVID-free company. We are carefully monitoring the situation and supporting the recovery of the affected company members,” the producers said in a statement Tuesday.

“Chicken & Biscuits” is lead produced by Pamela Ross, Hunter Arnold, E. Clayton Cornelious and Leah Michalos.
