‘What the Constitution Means to Me’ to relaunch tour with Cassie Beck

The national tour of Heidi Schreck’s “What the Constitution Means to Me” will relaunch Sept. 30 at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. The tour will now star Cassie Beck, who previously starred in “The Humans” on Broadway.

The national tour of Heidi Schreck’s “What the Constitution Means to Me” will relaunch Sept. 30 at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

The tour will now star Cassie Beck, who previously starred in “The Humans” on Broadway. Beck takes over the role from Maria Dizzia, who performed the role in Los Angeles and Chicago, before the pandemic.

The tour will play the Guthrie Theater until Oct. 24, and then head to Chicago; Princeton, N.J.; Detroit; Dallas; Hartford, Conn; Charlotte, N.C.; Boston and Nashville. Additional cities will be announced at a later date.

The play, directed by Oliver Butler, ran on Broadway from March to August 2019.

The national tour is produced by Diana DiMenna, Aaron Glick, Matt Ross and Level Forward and Eva Price.
