‘MJ’ will begin Broadway performances on Dec. 6

“MJ,” the Michael Jackson musical, will begin performances on Broadway Dec. 6. The new musical, which was originally scheduled to begin performances on July 6, 2020, has set an opening night of Feb. 1, 2022 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Ephraim Sykes will star in the world premiere of the musical.

“MJ,” the Michael Jackson musical, will begin performances on Broadway Dec. 6.

The new musical, which was originally scheduled to begin performances on July 6, 2020, has set an opening night of Feb. 1, 2022 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Ephraim Sykes will star in the world premiere of the musical.

“MJ,” set to the songs of Michael Jackson, will feature a book by Lynn Nottage and direction and choreography by Christopher Wheeldon.

“MJ” was originally scheduled to premiere in Chicago in the fall of 2019.
