‘Come From Away’ announces Sept. 21 Broadway return

“Come From Away” will return to Broadway on Sept. 21. The musical, which is shooting a filmed version of the production this month, will release tickets Monday. The reopening announcement follows Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s declaration that Broadway shows can resume at full capacity starting Sept. 14.

“Come From Away” will return to Broadway on Sept. 21.

The musical, which is shooting a filmed version of the production this month, will release tickets Monday. The reopening announcement follows Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s declaration that Broadway shows can resume at full capacity starting Sept. 14.

Since then, “Chicago” has said it will start performances on Sept. 14, followed by “Six” on Sept. 17, “Mrs. Doubtfire” on Oct. 21 and “The Phantom of the Opera” on Oct. 22. Several other productions have announced a fall return, but not yet set a date.

“Come From Away” opened on Broadway on March 12, 2017. The musical features a book and score by Irene Sankoff and David Hein and direction by Christopher Ashley.

Casting for the return has not yet been announced.
