Situation has hired Rachel O’Connor as an executive event producer, the digital advertising agency announced Thursday.
O’Connor has been consulting for Situation for more than ten years, but will now step into a full-time role, overseeing virtual and live event productions, including galas, conferences, fundraisers and special events. She comes to the role after producing events such as the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics and several of the annual Women in the World conferences.
During the pandemic, O’Connor has been working with clients including Carnegie Hall, the Pulitzer Prizes, National Domestic Workers Alliance and the Biden-Harris campaign to covert traditionally live, in-person events to digital experiences.
O’Connor was previously a creative producer for Blue Man Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Dublin.
