Second Stage Theater has appointed Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Mia Campbell, Dre Taylor Lindsay, Alice Pacthod and John Sorkin to its board of trustees.

“We are thrilled to expand our Second Stage family with the addition of new board members,” Carole Rothman, president and artistic director of Second Stage, said in a press release. “They join us at a crucial time for our industry and each will bring unique experience, insight and passion to our company as we prepare to return to our stages, stronger than ever.”

In addition to new board members, Second Stage recently appointed Khady Kamara as executive director.

Aguirre-Sacasa is a playwright, who has worked on “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” and the musical adaptation of “American Psycho,” and the creator of television series “Riverdale” and “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”

He is joined by Campbell, an early childhood educator; Lindsay, co-founder of leisurewear brand Rec Room; Pacthood, a business executive; and Sorkin, partner in the New York office of Ropes & Gray LLP.

The close to 40-person board at Second Stage is led by Terry Lindsay and Timothy J. McClimon.
