The Tony Administration Committee met for the final time Thursday to discuss eligible productions for the virtual Tony Awards this fall.

There will be 18 productions from the 2019-2020 season up for Tony Awards consideration, with a cutoff date of Feb. 19, 2020. There was no official announcement on the state of the best score category, which can currently only have one possible nomination from a musical, nor on the status of the acting categories, such as leading actor in a musical, which only has two possible nominees.

Asked how the ceremony would handle these categories, Tony Award Productions said in a statement to Broadway News that “rules have been adjusted,” but declined to elaborate further.

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the rules have been adjusted for one-time only to ensure broad recognition of excellent work that occurred during the abbreviated Broadway season while also protecting the integrity of the Award. Performance and creative categories will be handled in a similar manner to how show categories have been handled in the past few years,” the statement reads.

The date for the digital ceremony has not yet been announced. Nominations will be announced “soon,” according to a press release.

The committee made determinations on “My Name is Lucy Barton,” “A Soldier’s Play” and “Grand Horizons.”

In “My Name is Lucy Barton,” Laura Linney will be eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play. Elizabeth Strout and Rona Munro will be jointly eligible as writers in the Best Play category.

Bob Crowley and Luke Hall will also be considered jointly eligible in the Best Scenic Design of a Play category for their work on the play.

The committee determined that David Alan Grier will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play category for his role in “A Soldier’s Play.”

The list of all eligible productions encompasses:

“Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune”

“Moulin Rouge! The Musical”
