Manhattan Theatre Club’s “How I Learned to Drive” announced Friday that Johanna Day, Alyssa May Gold and Chris Myers will join the production, completing its Broadway cast.

They will join Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse, who will reprise their starring roles from the play’s original Off-Broadway run as previously announced.

Day appeared in the original production as Female Greek Chorus and will reprise that role on Broadway. Her past Broadway roles include Claire in “Proof” and Tracey in “Sweat,” both of which earned her Tony nominations. She was most recently seen on Broadway as Stella Spokes in 2018’s “The Nap.”

Gold was most recently seen Off-Broadway in “Our Dear Dead Drug Lord” and earlier on Broadway in “Arcadia.” Myers is making his Broadway debut.

“How I Learned to Drive” will begin previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on March 27 ahead of an April 22 opening. The play was written by Paula Vogel and is directed by Mark Brokaw, who also directed the original 1997 production.
