Andre Braugher and Enrico Colantoni will star alongside Debra Messing in “Birthday Candles” on Broadway.
In addition to Braugher and Colantoni, the complete cast includes Crystal Finn, Susannah Flood and Christopher Livingston. Written by Noah Haidle and directed by Vivienne Benesch, the play begins previews at the American Airlines Theatre on April 2, with an opening night on April 21.
This production marks the Broadway debut of Braugher, an Emmy-Award winner known for his roles in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Men of a Certain Age,” among others. This is also the Broadway debut for Calantoni, known for his leading role on the television series “Veronica Mars,” and for Finn, who has previously appeared in Roundabout’s “Bobbie Clearly” and “Kingdom Come.”
Flood has previously appeared on Broadway in “The Cherry Orchard.” Livingston appeared in this season’s “The Great Society” on Broadway.
The Roundabout Theatre Company production is a limited engagement, running through June 21, 2020.
