Paulo Szot to join the Broadway cast of ‘Chicago’

Paulo Szot, an opera star and Tony Award winner for “South Pacific,” will join the cast of “Chicago.” Szot begins in the role of Billy Flynn on Jan. 6 for a four-week run. He then returns to the company on March 16 for a nine-week run through May 19.

Paulo Szot, an opera star and Tony Award winner for “South Pacific,” will join the cast of “Chicago.”

Szot begins in the role of Billy Flynn on Jan. 6 for a four-week run. He then returns to the company on March 16 for a nine-week run through May 19.

Szot, who played Emile de Becque in the 2008 “South Pacific” revival, will star opposite Erika Jayne, part of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She begins the role of Roxie on Jan. 6.
