Jordan Fisher will be the next Evan Hansen on Broadway.

Fisher will succeed Andrew Barth Feldman, who plays his final performance on Jan. 26. He comes to “Dear Evan Hansen” after making his Broadway debut in 2016 in “Hamilton” and recently starring as Mark Cohen in Fox’s “Rent: Live.”

Fisher, who also won the 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars,” will play a limited 16-week engagement beginning Jan. 28.

“Jordan’s a remarkably talented, transformational actor, and a great musician,” said “Dear Evan Hansen” director Michael Greif, who also directed “Rent: Live.” “I thought he was spectacular in RENT Live, and I know he’ll be a thrilling Evan.”

“Dear Evan Hansen” opened at the Music Box Theatre on Dec. 4, 2016.
