Austin Scott, currently playing the title role in “Hamilton” on Broadway, will join the cast of “Girl from the North Country” this winter.
Scott will take on the role of Joe Scott, played by Sydney James Harcourt during the musical’s Off-Broadway run. The production also announced ensemble members Jennifer Blood, Law Terrell Dunford and Chiara Trentalange to complete the cast.
They join the previously announced cast which includes Todd Almond, Jeannette Bayardelle, Matthew Frederick Harris, Caitlin Houlahan, Robert Joy, Marc Kudisch, Luba Mason, Ben Mayne, Tom Nelis, David Pittu, Colton Ryan, Jay O. Sanders, John Schiappa, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, Rachel Stern, Bob Walton, Chelsea Lee Williams and Mare Winningham.
The musical begins previews at the Belasco Theatre on Feb. 7, 2020, with an opening night set for March 5.
