“Girl from the North Country” will bring the majority of its off-Broadway cast to Broadway.
The musical, set to a score of Bob Dylan songs, will feature Todd Almond, Jeannette Bayardelle,Matthew Frederick Harris, Caitlin Houlahan, Robert Joy, Marc Kudisch, Luba Mason, Ben Mayne, Tom Nelis, David Pittu, Colton Ryan, John Schiappa, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, Rachel Stern, Chelsea Lee Williams and Mare Winningham. Jay O. Sanders joins the production in the role of Nick Laine, played by Stephen Bogardus during the musical’s off-Broadway run at the Public Theater.
Complete casting will be announced at a later date.
Written and directed by Conor McPherson, “Girl from the North Country” begins previews at the Belasco Theatre on Feb. 7, 2020, with an opening night set for March 5.
