Sutton Foster will play Marian Paroo opposite Hugh Jackman in “The Music Man.”
As previously reported, “The Music Man” will begin performances on Sept. 9, 2020, with an opening night of Oct. 22 at a Shubert Theatre to be announced.
Foster returns to Broadway after a six-year absence. A two-time Tony Award winner, her previous Broadway credits include “Throughly Modern Millie” “Anything Goes,” “The Drowsy Chaperone,” “Little Women” “Shrek the Musical” and most recently “Violet.” She is currently starring in the television series “Younger.”
The revival is the revival will be directed by Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Warren Carlyle and set and costume design by Santo Loquasto.
