“Frozen” has announced new cast members, including Ryann Redmond as Olaf, the first woman to play the role.

In addition to Redmond, who has been on Broadway in “Bring It On” and “If Then,” the new cast members include Joe Carroll, last seen in “Bandstand,” as Hans and Noah J. Ricketts as Kristoff. The three new cast members begin on Feb. 19, 2019, taking over from Greg Hildreth, John Riddle and Jelani Alladin respectively, who will play their last performance on Feb. 17.

Caissie Levy and Patti Murin, playing Elsa and Anna, have extended their contracts and will stay with the production.

Additionally, beginning Feb. 19, the role of reindeer Sven will be split equally by original cast members Andrew Pirozzi and Adam Jepsen, who will each play four performances a week.
