“The Band’s Visit,” “Carousel,” “My Fair Lady,” “Once on This Island“ and “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert” received Grammy nominations in the Best Musical Theater Album category.

The Recording Academy had made changes to the submission guidelines for musical theater earlier this year in hopes of boosting the number of entries in the category, which needs 40 entries to receive the standard five nominations. Last year, there were three nominations in the category, with “Dear Evan Hansen” taking home the Grammy.

The awards themselves are given to the principal vocalists, album producers and lyricists and composers.

The Grammy nominations eligibility period ran from Oct. 1, 2017 through Sept. 30, 2018.

The Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on CBS.
