Todd London appointed to new role at The Dramatists Guild

Todd London has joined the staff of The Dramatists Guild of America in the new role of director of theater relations. London, who is also the co-head of MFA Playwriting at the New School, will work to build and further relationships between the Guild and theaters across the country.

Todd London has joined the staff of The Dramatists Guild of America in the new role of director of theater relations.

London, who is also the co-head of MFA Playwriting at the New School, will work to build and further relationships between the Guild and theaters across the country. He will also be in charge of the research and production of “The Count,” a study from the Dramatists Guild and The Lillys that tracks gender and racial equity at theaters across the country.

London was previously executive director of the University of Washington’s School of Drama and served 18 seasons as Artistic Director of the New Dramatists.

He was a former managing editor of American Theatre and has written, edited or contributed to more than twenty books.
