Former American Idol contestants Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken will appear in a holiday show on Broadway this December.
The show, entitled “Ruben & Clay’s First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show,” will play the Imperial Theatre for a three-week engagement beginning Dec. 7, 2018.
The show, also known as “Ruben & Clay’s Christmas Show,” has set an opening night date of Dec. 11. The last day of performances will be Dec. 30.
Jeffrey Chrzczon, a producer on last year’s “Home for the Holidays” on Broadway, Side Effects Include and Josh Pultz/Amplified Entertainment are the producers.
“Ruben & Clay’s Christmas Show” plays the Imperial before it welcomes “Ain’t Too Proud” on Feb. 28. “Carousel” closed at the Imperial on Sept. 16.
