Tony Awards announces nominating committee for 2018-2019 season

The Tony Awards has announced its nominating committee for the 2018-2019 Broadway season. The committee members, who serve a three year term, attend all Broadway productions during the season and later vote on that season’s Tony Award nominees.

The Tony Awards has announced its nominating committee for the 2018-2019 Broadway season.

The committee members, who serve a three year term, attend all Broadway productions during the season and later vote on that season’s Tony Award nominees. In addition to the nominating committee, the Tony Awards Administration Committee meets four times throughout the season to determine what shows are eligible to be nominated.

This year’s committee is comprised of 48 members. New members this season include actors Ann Harada, Priscilla Lopez, Daphne Rubin-Vega and playwrights Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Martyna Majok.
