‘Come From Away’ to begin North American Tour in Seattle

“Come From Away” will begin its North American tour at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre in October 2018. The show will play 60 cities overall, including stops in Canada, in cities such as Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. In the U.S.

“Come From Away” will begin its North American tour at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre in October 2018.

The show will play 60 cities overall, including stops in Canada, in cities such as Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. In the U.S., “Come From Away” will stop at The Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, the Keller Auditorium in Portland, Ore., the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans and Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wisc., among others.

“Come From Away” previously played the Seattle Repertory Theatre as one of its stops before Broadway.

The musical is in its second year on Broadway after opening on Feb. 18, 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

In addition to the Broadway engagement and upcoming tour, “Come From Away” launched a second company in Canada. The Mark Gordon Company is producing a film adaptation of the musical, written by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, who wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical.
