The Lucille Lortel Awards have changed the nomination announcement date to April 4 from the previously announced date of April 3.
Rachel Bay Jones and Steven Pasquale will announce the nominees live at noon on Wednesday. This is the first time the Lucille Lortel nominees will be announced live.
The live-streamed video will be available on Playbill’s Facebook page Wednesday.
Laura Benanti and Jason Jones will host the Lucille Lortel Awards, which honor off Broadway shows, May 6 at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.
This year, the awards show will honor Eve Ensler, WP Theater and composer Michael Friedman, who will receive a posthumous commemoration on the Playwrights Sidewalk outside the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
The cut off date for off Broadway shows to be considered is March 31.
